Robin Plous

Head of Accounts at Purpose Advertising

Passion and commitment are not only central to Robin Plous’ belief system, but also two of her greatest talents. As Purpose Brand’s real estate chief and account director, Robin channels both qualities to help clients tell the right story through the right channels to the right audiences.

Superb management skills complement Robin’s flair for creating and disseminating compelling communications strategies. Whether overseeing accounts or projects, she is a gifted manager with outstanding organizational abilities. These talents allow her to execute cross-channel campaigns of every type and size to help her clients face new, complex and often high-stakes marketing and public relations challenges.

As a veteran of four Chicago public relations agencies, Robin has spent nearly three decades building her project management, media and communications expertise. She’s worked in-house and as outside counsel for clients in nonprofit, commercial and residential real estate, architecture and design and the restaurant, hospitality and consumer packaged goods industries.

Throughout her career, Robin has built long-lasting and strong relationships with key national and local press, resulting in placements in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Forbes, Chicago Tribune, Midwest Living, InStyle magazine and others. She is focused, strategic and methodical yet resourceful and imaginative when it comes to promoting her client’s objectives.

Robin earned her Bachelor of Arts at Drake University in journalism and mass communications and a MBA in management from DePaul University. As passionate about health and wellness as she is about her clients, Robin crams in an early morning-walk/chat with her BFF by phone before settling into work each day. She also serves on her synagogue’s leadership council.
