Philip Johnson

Philip Johnson is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in both retail and military environments. As the cofounder of Purpose Boutique since July 2013, Philip has played a vital role in establishing a successful women's clothing and accessories retail chain with multiple locations and a significant workforce, focusing on finance, HR, retail technology, and marketing. Prior to this, Philip served as a Nuclear Engineering and Submarine Tactics Instructor at Trident Training Facility Bangor, where an 8-week course was conducted to prepare naval officers for certification. Additional experience includes acting as Flag Aide for Submarine Group Nine, managing the daily operations of the admiral, and serving as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy, gaining substantial technical expertise. Philip's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
