Its humble beginnings started in 2000. Missing his home town food from Putian, Mr Fong our founder, took things into his hands and opened his first stall at a coffee shop in Singapore’s Kitchener Road. With his commitment to only using the freshest ingredients and putting his heart to sourcing for the best, PUTIEN has since created a name for itself, using only the Freshest Ingredients while keeping the taste of home in its food. For the last 20 years, it has since grown into a popular chain with over 70 outlets in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Taiwan and Philippines.  The brand has also received numerous dining and business awards, including the coveted Michelin Guide Singapore 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 MICHELIN ONE-STAR RESTAURANT Award (Kitchener Road Outlet), Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 BIB GOURMAND RESTAURANT Award (Causeway Bay Outlet).

This reaffirms PUTIEN as one of the leading Chinese food operator, as it continues to expand its network of restaurants in China, and venturing in other parts of the world including Japan, Korea, Australia and the United States of America.
