Shep Perkins

Shep Perkins is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Putnam Equity Investments at Putnam Investments since August 2011. Prior to this role, Shep held various positions at Fidelity Investments from 1997 to 2011, including Portfolio Manager for significant funds and Equity Analyst focused on the Health Care, Telecom, and Technology sectors. Earlier in Shep's career, from 1993 to 1997, a position as Equity Research Analyst in the Chemicals sector was held at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Shep obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Amherst College between 1989 and 1993.
