Shan Sethna is a General Manager at Sea Level - La Jolla Sea Cave Kayaks, LLC, TripAdvisor's #1 water sports provider in La Jolla, CA. With a background in emergency medical services and media, Shan also serves as a Group Leader at Putney Student Travel and an Overseas Educator at Carpe Diem Education. As the Founder and Executive Director of Friends of Berthoud Pass, Shan advocates for backcountry skiers' safety and access. Since 1951, Putney Student Travel has offered high school and middle school students the opportunity and insight to shape their world through travel, unique cultural engagement, friendship, and fun. Our summer programs for teens include Service, Exploration, Language, Career, and Pre-College trips to 30+ countries around the world. We also collaborate with the Smithsonian to offer Smithsonian Student Travel; with National Geographic to offer National Geographic Student Travel; and with Harvard Chan C-CHANGE to offer Youth Summits on Climate, Equity, & Health.
