Nazlı Güngör has worked in various roles since 2015. Nazlı began as a Program Coordinator for Club Silicon Valley, followed by a Research Intern for Koç University Intelligent User Interfaces Lab, a Summer Intern for Çaycı Gıda A.Ş., a National Coordinator for Junior Achievement Alumni Turkey, and a Bass Connections Fellow and Peer Tutor for Duke University. In 2017, Güngör was a Software Engineering Intern for AYESAŞ. Nazlı then returned to Salesforce as a Software Engineering Intern in 2018 and 2019, and as an Associate Member of Technical Staff and Member of Technical Staff in 2020. Güngör is currently a Software Engineer for Puzzle, starting in 2022.

Nazlı Güngör's education history includes attending TED Ankara College from 2008 to 2011, Robert College from 2011 to 2016, and Duke University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Additionally, they attended Harvard Summer School in 2018, where they obtained a degree in Ekonomi (Economics). Güngör has also obtained three certifications from Coursera: Ideas from the Nazlı'story of Graphic Design (July 2020), Introduction to Typography (June 2020), and Fundamentals of Graphic Design (May 2020).
