Sophia Xiao

Sophia Xiao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and venture capital. Currently a partner at General Catalyst since December 2018, Sophia focuses on multidimensional skills for company building, working closely with notable founders and companies including Airbnb and Stripe. Additionally, Sophia serves as a board observer at Puzzle and was a special advisor to Kuaishou. Prior to General Catalyst, Sophia held significant roles at Twitch as VP and Head of International Products and as Chief of Staff to the CEO. Other experiences include mentoring at Sequoia Capital, senior roles at Box, and technical program management positions at Vontu and Oracle. Sophia holds a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University and the University of California, Davis.
