Jopie Nooren

Jopie Nooren has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various organizations. Since June 2022, Jopie Nooren serves as Vicevoorzitter of PvdA and has held the position of Voorzitter of the College van Bestuur at Hogeschool van Amsterdam since March 2021. Additionally, Jopie Nooren is a bestuurslid at Vereniging Hogescholen since October 2021 and a member of the raad van toezicht at RegMed XB until August 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Senator for Partij van de Arbeid in the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal from June 2015 to March 2021 and serving as the Voorzitter of the Raad van Bestuur at Bartiméus from January 2013 to March 2021. Other notable roles include being a board member at Stichting Onbeperkt Sportief, chairing the Raad van Toezicht at Nederlands Gebarencentrum, and serving on the board at Vilans and Wilhelmina Ziekenhuis Assen. Jopie Nooren holds a Master of Science in Beleid en Management Gezondheidszorg from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a bachelor's degree in ergotherapie from Zuyd Hogeschool.
