Mia Davies

Mia Davies is an experienced operations and project management professional with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment. At Thames Water, Mia held multiple roles, including Operations Manager, where responsibilities included managing nine sewage treatment works for a population of 160,000, overseeing a team of 11 engineers, and managing an OPEX budget of £2.5 million. As Area Operations Manager, Mia was accountable for the performance of 27 treatment works with a £13 million TotEx budget. Additionally, Mia led the Elimination of Waste efficiency transformation programme across 350 sites, enhancing operational efficiency for 15 million customers. Prior to this, Mia participated in a Graduate Leadership Scheme with placements that included overseeing a major sewage treatment plant. Currently, Mia works as a Manager and Senior Manager in Capital Project Services at PwC. Mia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Leeds and completed high school at Bablake School.
