Lydia Marleau -aPHR

Lydia Marleau has a range of work experience in various roles. Lydia is currently working as a Human Resources Generalist at PWCC Marketplace, LLC since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dealer Spike LLC as a Senior Human Resources Assistant from July 2019 to August 2021, and as a Human Resources Assistant from September 2019 to July 2021. Lydia also worked as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Portland from February 2019 to May 2019, where they conducted research and provided support to Dr. Nelson-Marsh. Additionally, they were a Student Speaker at the Western States Communication Association Conference in February 2019, where they presented their senior thesis and participated in a Q&A session. Before that, they worked at Coco Donuts as a Barista from May 2017 to August 2018, where they assisted in inventory management and maintaining health code standards. Lydia also worked at Nicoli's Grill and Sports Bar as Front Desk Staff from December 2015 to March 2017, where they handled phone calls and had face-to-face interactions with customers. In 2016, they participated in a London Study Abroad program with GEO (Global Education Oregon). Lydia also worked as a Student Office Assistant at the College of Arts and Sciences Office at the University of Portland from January 2016 to April 2016, where they provided administrative support and assisted with document management.

Lydia Marleau, aPHR, obtained their Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification from HRCI in December 2022. Lydia also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication, with a focus in Environmental Studies, from the University of Portland. Lydia attended the University of Portland from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, Lydia attended Horizon Christian High School from 2011 to 2015. Before high school, they briefly attended Westside Christian High School from 2010 to 2011. Lydia also holds a Food Handlers Card obtained from the State of Oregon in June 2018.
