Malcolm Truman has a wealth of experience in international business development, beginning with their role as Business Development Manager at Green Eco Supplies in 2012. In 2014, they took on the role of International Business Development Manager at PWRstation, where they focused on researching and developing vertical market opportunities and strategic OEM and VAR partnerships within the off-grid solar sector, with a particular focus on the emerging power markets of Africa, Latin America and Asia. Malcolm also served as Committee President of the International Dual Career Network (IDCN) Basel Network, a non-profit association focused on facilitating job searches for mobile employees' partners and providing a turnkey talent pool. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Contractor with Novartis - NBS Global Mobility team.
Prior to these roles, Malcolm Truman held positions such as Major Account Sales Executive at Computer 2000 from 1991 to 1997, Internal Sales Desk Manager at Hawke Systems from 1986 to 1991, and Retail Branch Manager at Lennards Shoes Ltd. from 1981 to 1986. Malcolm also studied Environmental Conservation at Nottingham Trent University from 2006 to 2010.
Malcolm Truman holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from Nottingham Trent University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2009. Malcolm also holds a BA in Business Studies from Windsor & Maidenhead College of Further Education, which they obtained between 1983 and 1986. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Klubschule Basel, where they obtained a Telc Deutsch Intensive A2 - B1. Malcolm also attended IOR Lörrach in 2014, obtaining a Telc Deutsch Intensive B2. In 2016 and 2017, they attended academia Basel, where they obtained a Telc B2 German. In 2017, they obtained a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
