Jake Woods

Jake Woods is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in digital transformation and mechanical projects within the chemical and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Digital Transformation Manager at px Group since March 2018, Jake has held multiple leadership roles including Optimisation & Planning Manager and Mechanical Engineer, overseeing a team responsible for mechanical equipment at the Tier 1 COMAH Saltend Chemicals Park. Prior experience includes roles at BP as a Site Operations Mechanical Engineer and Graduate Projects Engineer, managing significant CAPEX projects and improving asset reliability. Jake's early career includes internships with Rolls-Royce and Turbo Technics Ltd., where Jake focused on design optimization and vibrations analysis for critical components. Jake holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
