Liam McKinney

Liam McKinney is an accomplished Subsea & Pipeline Engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering roles within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Project Manager at PX Group since April 2017, Liam oversees significant projects including the Vesterled Pipeline Frost Heave Remediation and the SIRGE Pipeline ILI Pigging. Prior to this role, Liam worked at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited as a Subsea Support Engineer, coordinating air diving programs. Previous positions include Project Manager at Pipelines 2 Data Ltd, Subsea Operations Engineer at Talisman Energy, and Senior Subsea & Pipeline Engineer at Total E&P, where Liam managed major subsea projects and inspections. An early career at CSL and Acergy equipped Liam with a strong foundation in operations and field engineering. Liam holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, complemented by an HND in Mechanical Manufacture and Design and a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
