Sergei Stepanov

Sergei Stepanov has extensive work experience in the field of geophysics. Sergei began their career at GeoBird International in 1998, where they worked as a seismic data processor and later as Chief data processor until 2003. Sergei then joined Fugro as Chief Processing Geophysicist and worked there from 2003 to 2013. In 2013, they moved to CGG and served as Geoscience Chief until 2014. Stepanov then joined Polarcus as Chief Field Geophysicist and worked there from 2014 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Filed Geophysicist at PXGEO since 2021. Prior to their industry experience, Stepanov worked as a Scientific Associate at the All-Russia Scientific Research Institute for Geology and Mineral Resources of the World Ocean, VNIIO from 1991 to 2012.

Sergei Stepanov pursued their education from 1984 to 1991 at the Saint Petersburg State Mining Institute named after G. V. Plekhanov (Technical University), where they attained a Master's degree [honors degree] in Geophysical methods for reconnaissance and prospect of mineral deposits.
