Sergiy Bondar

Sergiy Bondar has extensive experience as a software developer, having worked for several notable companies. Sergiy started their career in 2002 at InStep Software, where they served as a Senior Software Developer. In this role, they were involved in the design, development, coding, debugging, and testing of the company's eDNA system, which focused on time-series data collection and information display. After leaving InStep Software in 2010, Bondar joined OSIsoft as a Senior Software Developer. Sergiy played a vital role in the system development life cycle of various company products, particularly collaborating with the Connector team to design, develop, code, debug, and test different connectors and interfaces. In 2018, Bondar joined PXiSE Energy Solutions as a Principal Software Developer. There, they worked on the design, development, coding, and testing of the Micro Grid Controller and Renewable Power Plant Control, which are flagship products of the company. Additionally, at PXiSE Energy Solutions, they focused on the development and deployment of the Distributed Energy Resources Management System, contributing extensively to the creation of IEEE 2030.

Sergiy Bondar obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where they studied from 1987 to 1996.
