Danie Champain's work experience began in 2000 as a Research Assistant in Proteomics and Biochemistry at Alzprotect. From 2002 to 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant in Proteomics, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology at GENFIT. Following this, in 2010, Champain completed a Clinical Research Engineer Internship at The University of Western Australia, where they focused on measuring plasma microparticles and C-reactive protein kinetics. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Research Officer at The University of Western Australia, specializing in lipoprotein metabolism and biomarkers in cardiovascular diseases. Currently, Champain is employed at PYC Therapeutics, starting in 2015 as a Research Scientist in Protein Expression and Engineering before transitioning to a Senior Scientist role in Pharmacology in June 2021.
