Alek Petuskey

Alek Petuskey has held several roles in various companies and research institutions. Most recently, in 2022, they co-founded Pynecone. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Ancestry from 2020 to 2022 and as an MLE Intern from 2020 to 2021. Alek also served as an Applied ML Researcher at the Bender Lab of the University of California, San Francisco from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center from 2019 to 2020 and at Dropbox from 2019 to 2019. Alek also served as a Researcher at the Breakthrough Listen Lab of Berkeley SETI Research Center from 2018 to 2019 and an Undergrad Student Instructor at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences from 2018 to 2019.

Alek Petuskey completed the Y Combinator program in 2023, earning a degree of YC W23. Prior to this, Alek attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Computer Science and Physics at an unknown point in time. The specific years of attendance and any degrees earned at UC Berkeley are unknown.
