Winnie Yu

Winnie Yu has a long career of experience in the fields of consulting, environmental science, petroleum geology, and coastal and marine geology. Winnie began their career in 2010 as a Coastal and Marine Geology Research Assistant at the UNC Institute of Marine Sciences, where they monitored beach health and topography for Marine Corps Base, and acquired 3D terrestrial laser scan, Ground Penetrating Radar, Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS, seismic, and sidescan sonar surveys in nearshore environments. In 2012, they joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as a Petroleum Geologist, where they planned and oversaw drilling operations of ~150 Eagle Ford wells, resulting in the development of over 50MMBOE. In 2017, Winnie worked as an Environmental Scientist at WSP in Australia & New Zealand, providing audit support for the environmental assessment and remediation of a large decommissioned chemical plant. Winnie also joined EY in 2017 as a Senior Consultant and Consultant, where they led engagements for a major utilities company on portfolio planning, business process design, and PMO implementation of large-scale IT transformations across the full end to end software development lifecycle. In 2021, Winnie began working as an Implementation Manager at Pypestream.

Winnie Yu obtained a Master's Degree in Marine Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Rice University. Winnie is also a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
