Brian G.

Brian G. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technical engineering and support. Brian began their career at Wireless Facilities Inc in 2003, where they served as a Senior Network Engineer and Systems Administrator, responsible for deploying municipal Wi-Fi networks and managing network installations. In 2009, they joined PPL Pennsylvania Power Light as a Network Engineer and NOC Support, providing technical support and overseeing infrastructure upgrades. Brian then moved on to work as a Technical Team Lead at Arris Inc./Google in 2011, where they managed a team tasked with analyzing global YouTube traffic and optimizing intelligent storage placement. Brian later joined Aruba Networks in 2012 as a Principal Network Engineer, providing technical support, completing vendor qualifications, and leading cross-training initiatives. In 2015, Brian joined SmartWave Technologies as a Senior Network/Systems Engineer, implementing network solutions for clients such as Google and leading system development efforts. Brian then went on to work at Extreme Networks in 2016 as a Senior Systems Engineer, evangelizing and demonstrating products and ensuring prompt issue resolution. Brian joined Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, in 2017 as an Aruba Resident Engineer, offering technical support, optimizing customer investments, and escalating technical issues. Currently, they are a Principal Technical Engineer at Pyramid Consulting, Inc, troubleshooting and providing user support for IT products and services.

Brian G. completed their education in Computer Science with an Associate of Arts degree from Coleman College in 2001. In 2018, they enrolled at Western Governors University and pursued studies in Network Operations and Security without obtaining a degree. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) and Mist Location Certification in 2020, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist and CompTIA Network+ ce Certification in 2019, and CompTIA A+ CE in 2019. Brian also completed a PMP® Certification Training Course (Bootcamp) in 2020.
