Francisco J Arregui is a prominent academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the field of engineering. Serving as co-Founder of EVERSENS SL and Pyroistech, Francisco has been actively involved in innovative ventures since 2015 and 2018 respectively. Francisco holds a longstanding position at Universidad Pública de Navarra since 1995, where titles include Full Professor, Vice President for Research, and Head of Department. Additional entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Nadetech Innovations from 2011 to 2024 and serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Sensors at Hindawi Publishing from 2007 to 2011. Francisco's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universidad Pública de Navarra and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnun - Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de San Sebastian.

Pyroistech is formed by a group of PhDs and engineers graduated from the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) and created in the UPNA Fiber Optic Sensor research group. It has the objective of satisfying the optoelectronic equipment requirements of the research laboratories, technology centers or R & D departments of companies related to this field. The experience acquired during decades working with this type of equipment allows us to identify the evolution of technology in this field and to provide our tools with the most advanced functionalities in addition to being prepared to meet the requests and the specific necessities of our most demanding clients.
