Brian Scragg

Brian Scragg serves as the Leader of Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence & Transformation at Pyrovio since February 2024, focusing on designing, deploying, and delivering result-oriented Continuous Improvement culture transformations. Prior to this role, Brian served as the Director of Continuous Improvement, Lean Deployment, and Culture Transformation at American Electric Power from 1990 to December 2023, where accomplishments included implementing over $250 million in sustainable improvements and leading culture transformations across 2,000 generation employees and 25 plants. Additionally, Brian held various management positions, including Plant Manager at Lawrenceburg Combine Cycle Natural Gas Plant and Tanners Creek coal-fired generating plant, achieving a record of zero injuries and environmental events at Tanners Creek. Brian also won the Ohio Governor’s Baldrige Award for Excellence, contributing to a team-focused, high-performing organization. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
