Sophie Caranhac

Sophie CARANHAC is a seasoned professional in the field of imaging technologies, currently serving as Co-founder and COO at PYXALIS since August 2010. Prior to this role, Sophie held significant positions at e2v, leading a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering image sensor products across various sectors including space, defense, and medical applications. Experience also includes a tenure as Program Manager and Business Team Manager at ATMEL, where the emphasis was on developing CMOS imaging products for the consumer market. Sophie began a career in engineering at THOMSON-CSF Semiconducteurs Spécifiques, initially working as an Application Engineer and later taking on a combined role in design and project management for CCD image sensors. Educational background includes an engineering degree in microelectronics from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Grenoble.
