Akhil Sundararajan began their career in 2011 as a Production Engineering Intern at JSR Micro Inc, where they implemented a revision procedure for finished product photoresist statistical process control (SPC) limits and proposed and qualified a nitrogen bubbling manufacturing process for photoresist batch adjustments. In 2012, they joined Cadence Design Systems as a Senior Application Engineer, where they were involved in netlist-to-GDSII physical design flow development and tapeout support for leading semiconductor customers. In 2015, they began working at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Assistant, Lecturer, Project Assistant, and Teaching Assistant, where they developed analysis framework for distributed optimization algorithms and instructed a class of over 100 students. In 2021, they joined Q Bio as a Computational Science Engineer.
Akhil Sundararajan received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. Akhil then went on to receive a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. Akhil is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
