Christopher Farrenden

Christopher Farrenden has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Christopher worked as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Q-CTRL, where they led the growth of the DevOps Engineering team and focused on ISO compliance and cloud infrastructure for defense customers. Christopher also implemented a solution using Argo CD to manage the Kubernetes cluster components. Prior to that, they held roles as a Senior DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineer at Q-CTRL.

Before joining Q-CTRL, Christopher worked as a DevOps Engineer at Domain, where they contributed to the company's DevOps practices. Christopher also served as a DevOps Engineer at Bulletproof Group Limited, where they gained further experience in the field.

Earlier in their career, Christopher worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of New England. Christopher contributed to the development of an Android application component for the Pollinator Monitor Project and assisted in the creation of a script for the UNE School of Rural Medicine Chronic Kidney Disease Registry Project.

Christopher Farrenden completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) at the University of New England from 2015 to 2017. Before that, they attended Oxley High School from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained certifications in Google Cloud and AWS, including the Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certifications.
