Erik Renno is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in design and software architecture. Currently serving as Sr Manager of Design Engineering for MCU8 Architecture at Microchip Technology Inc. since August 2017, Erik has simultaneously held the role of Senior SW Architect at Atmel Norway since January 2016. Additionally, Erik has been a Senior Development Engineer in R&D at Q-Free ASA since September 2009. Previously, Erik was the AVR32 Chief Architect at ATMEL from December 1999 to September 2009. Erik holds a degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which was completed between 1994 and 1998.
