Timothy Bean

Timothy Bean has a diverse work experience in the technology and transportation sectors. Timothy is currently the Executive Vice President of Technology for Traffic Management at Q-Free ASA, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of NoraNetworks, LLC starting in August 2021. Timothy also has experience in the public sector, having worked at the Virginia Department of Transportation as the Northern Region Systems Manager from May 2017 to August 2021. Timothy has also held roles as a Communications Manager at Fluor Corporation, Sr. ITS Technician at Arcadis, GDOT ITS Project Manager and ITS Systems Engineering Manager at Serco, ITS Systems Specialist at the Mississippi Department of Transportation, and ITS Systems Engineer at Gresham, Smith and Partners. Timothy's early career involved working as a Hardware Systems Engineer at Aero Simulation, Inc. and as an ITS Communications Specialist at TransCore.

Timothy Bean completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they studied Electrical Engineering at Clemson University from 1999 to 2002.
