Amy Elder

Amy Elder has a extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and biosciences. Amy is currently serving as the Acting Head of Drug Discovery at Ilios Therapeutics since December 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Q-State Biosciences as the Director of Chemistry and Project Manager starting in November 2016. Before that, Amy held various positions at Galenea, including Senior Scientist II, Associate Director, and Director of Chemistry from August 2007 to November 2016. Amy also worked at Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist, Senior Scientist I, and Senior Scientist II from August 2000 to August 2007. Amy started their career at Pfizer as a Research Assistant and Research Associate from 1992 to 1995.

Amy Elder attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UMass Amherst.
