Karthiayani Harikrishnan

Karthiayani Harikrishnan has a comprehensive background in biomedical research. Their most recent position was as a Senior Research Associate at Q-State Biosciences, where they provided scientific technical leadership for the company's internal therapeutic antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) discovery program. This involved designing, leading, and executing tissue culture experiments, as well as developing assays, analyzing data, and presenting findings. Prior to this role, Karthiayani was a Research Associate III at Q-State Biosciences, where they contributed to the company's CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing platform and conducted experiments for a precision medicine program. Karthiayani Harikrishnan pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology from VIT University (Chennai Campus) from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they furthered their education at the University at Buffalo from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
