Justin Collado

Justin Collado has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Justin currently works at Q-Tran, Inc as a Senior Design Engineer. Previously, they held the positions of Lead Designer and Industrial Designer at the same company. Prior to that, Justin worked as an Industrial Design Intern at Q-Tran, Inc.

In 2021, Justin founded their own company called Legado Design LLC. As the Founder, they focus on building upon legacies and creating new modern designs that prioritize user experience, brand value, and environmental sustainability.

Justin has also worked as an Industrial Designer contractor for BigMouth Inc. and Spark Design LLC. At BigMouth Inc., they developed concepts for a specific project and conducted market research, while at Spark Design LLC, they created prototypes for client presentations.

Before transitioning into the industrial design field, Justin gained experience as an Industrial Design Intern at Big Bang. The position allowed him to enhance their skills in 3D modeling, rendering, idea generation, and market research, among others. Justin also learned and became proficient in various design software.

Justin's early work experience includes roles as a Guest Relations Associate at the University of Bridgeport and a Waiter at Rockaway Hunting Club. These positions helped him develop leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Justin Collado completed their high school education at Lawrence High School from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a general study curriculum. Following that, from 2013 to 2017, Justin attended the University of Bridgeport and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Product Design.
