Pablo Alcón Valero

Pablo Alcón Valero is an experienced Offshore Director, currently leading the offshore wind business at Qair Group in Iberia since November 2023, overseeing the development of a portfolio exceeding 5 GW in Spain and Portugal. Prior to this role, Pablo served as Offshore Director at Capital Energy from July 2021 to October 2023, where efforts focused on establishing the offshore wind segment and building a substantial portfolio of over 10 GW across Spain, Portugal, Colombia, and Brazil. Previous positions include Array Cable Package Manager and Lead Offshore Installation Manager at Iberdrola, where Pablo played a key role in significant projects like East Anglia One and Wikinger. Early in the career, Pablo held roles at Saipem and BPP-TECH, specializing in offshore installation engineering and subsea technology consulting. Pablo holds a Master of Science in Offshore & Ocean Technology from Cranfield University and both a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València and an Erasmus degree from EPFL.
