David Moore

David Moore is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Defence & Strategy at Qantas Group since June 2008. In this role, David has successfully led major transformations and established a robust Enterprise Security Architecture Team. Prior to this position, David held senior roles at Qantas, including Information Security Officer, where foundational security policies and frameworks were developed. David's earlier experience includes roles at Promina as Group Information Security, Risk & Compliance Manager, and at Royal & SunAlliance as Group Systems Security Manager for the Asia Pacific Region. David's career began at EnergyAustralia, where various positions included Information Security Project Manager. David holds a Masters of Business and Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management from UNSW.
