David Teitzel is an experienced airline pilot with expertise in both the Boeing 737 and Boeing 787 aircraft. With a career that includes a recent tenure at Qantas in February 2024 as a First Officer and Second Officer, David also served in various capacities at Regional Express (Rex) from June 2014 to April 2016, including Airline Captain, Airline Training Captain, and First Officer. David holds a Master’s degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from UNSW, obtained between 2018 and 2020, and previously completed a Diploma of Aviation through the Regional Express Airlines Pilot Cadetship in 2010 at the Australian Airline Pilot Academy.
