Rob Matthews has extensive experience in data and analytics, primarily within the telecommunications and aviation sectors. Since August 2017, Rob has held multiple leadership roles at Qantas, currently serving as Head of Data & Analytics for Hotels & Holidays and Insurance, focusing on customer value proposition design and innovation. Prior to Qantas, Rob worked at Vodafone Australia from 2012 to 2017, progressing from Senior Insights Analyst to Senior Planning Manager, where responsibilities included crafting retention strategies and leading a team of analysts. Earlier career experience includes a position as Senior Commercial Analyst at Vodafone UK, where Rob utilized SQL for customer analysis and deal negotiations. Rob holds a Master of Science in Business, Management, and Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from the University of Liverpool.
