Jim Talbot

Jim Talbot has over 29 years of experience in the medical device industry. Jim began their career in 1992 as Reliability & Materials Testing Manager at Acuson. In 2002, they moved to Cytyc Surgical Products as Director QA/RA and was responsible for all quality and regulatory functions. In 2005, they joined Cutera as Vice President QA/RA and was responsible for Quality System and regulatory submissions. In 2006, they transitioned to Boston Scientific as Director Quality - Capital Equipment. In 2009, they moved to InSound Medical as Sr. Director QA/RA. In 2011, they joined Restoration Robotics as Sr. Director QA/RA and Operations. In 2014, they moved to ViewRay Incorporated as Senior Director Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems. In 2015, they joined Viveve, Inc. as Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems. In 2018, they moved to Zap Surgical as Senior Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Q'Apel Medical, Inc. as Vice President RA/QA/CA.

Jim Talbot holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
