King Nelson has held various positions in the healthcare industry since 1980. King began their career at American Hospital Supply Corporation as a Sales and Marketing Manager in 1980. In 1985, they moved to Baxter Healthcare as Division President- Dade Dx, Bentley, and Baxter Perfusion Services. In 2000, they became President & CEO and Director at VenPro Corporation. In 2005, they held the same roles at Kerberos Proximal Solutions. King was also a Director at Digirad in the same year. In 2014, they became Director at Regenesis Biomedical, Inc. and in 2015, they became Director at CardieX Limited. In 2019, they became CEO and Director at Q'Apel Medical and Director at Miracles for Kids.
King Nelson received their MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 1989, specializing in International Business. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree at Texas Tech University in 1979, studying in the School of Communication.
