Derrick Hey

Derrick Hey is an accomplished manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in business development and engineering management across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Engineer in Business Development at Qarbon Aerospace, Derrick previously held senior roles at GKN Aerospace, including Chief Manufacturing Engineering and Head of Manufacturing Engineering North America, where focus was placed on standardization and the implementation of Zero Defect Methodologies. Derrick also has a strong background as Operations Manager at Harbison-Fischer, overseeing production and cross-functional teams, and as a manufacturing engineer at Lockheed Martin, supporting missile defense systems and electronics production. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University.
