Alison Jones Violas

Alison Jones Violas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alison began their career at Urban Outfitters as a Sales Associate in the Women's Department from August 2010 to October 2011. Alison then worked at the Yoga Centre, where they held multiple roles including Yoga Instructor, Studio Manager & Event Coordinator, and Yoga and Teacher Training Advisor from September 2011 to May 2015.

Following this, Alison joined SWAV UnderApparel as a Social Media Coordinator from July 2014 to November 2015. Alison then transitioned to MINDBODY, Inc. as an Onboarding Specialist, where they interviewed business owners, developed training plans, and led webinars for clients, among other responsibilities. Alison worked there from July 2015 to June 2016.

In 2016, Alison had multiple positions. Alison started as a Yoga Instructor at EXOS from November 2016 to June 2017. Alison then worked as an Onboarding and Support Associate at Qardio, Inc. from June 2016 to August 2017. After that, they became a Senior Customer Experience Associate at Qardio, Inc. from August 2017 to August 2018. Finally, Alison served as a Customer Experience Manager at Qardio, Inc. starting in August 2018.

In addition to their roles at Qardio, Inc., Alison also worked as a Yoga Instructor at Associated Students, Inc.-Cal Poly San Luis Obispo from August 2015 to July 2016. Alison then worked as a Yoga Instructor at Ultrahealth Sports Physical Therapy & Training from May 2017 to July 2019.

Most recently, Alison joined CorePower Yoga as a Yoga Instructor in October 2018.

Alison Jones Violas completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, Anatomy and Physiology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Alison attended this university from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma from California Academy of Math and Science between 2005 and 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Alison has also obtained additional certifications. In March 2014, they obtained a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification from Yoga Centre, San Luis Obispo, CA, accredited by Yoga Alliance. Alison also holds an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, which they obtained in December 2013 from the American Red Cross.
