Betty Peng

Betty Peng has an extensive work experience in various industries. Betty worked as a Marketing Director at Qardio, Inc. from January 2018 onwards, where they developed and executed competitive marketing strategies, enhanced product-market fit, and enabled revenue growth across multiple geographies. Prior to this, they served as a Digital Marketing Manager at the same company, starting in December 2014. In this role, Betty developed and executed marketing strategies, and collaborated cross-functionally with various teams to drive revenue growth.

Before joining Qardio, Inc., Betty worked as a Digital Marketing Associate at Digivate for a brief period in 2014. Their responsibilities included supporting the SEO and PPC team, managing content and copywriting for products, conducting keyword research, and tracking PPC budgets.

In 2014, Betty also served as the Chief Operating Officer for Notorious Badger, where they successfully set up an e-retailing shop.

Earlier in their career, Betty had a role as a Senior Research Associate II at Gilead Sciences from 2005 to 2013. Betty supported multiple research projects in the drug discovery process against Hepatitis C and played a significant role in IND filings and reports. Betty also worked as a Sales and Gallery Consultant at Stellar Somerset Gallery in Palo Alto from 2005 to 2007, where they organized press releases and marketing materials and conducted monthly gallery openings.

Betty started their career as a Research Associate at Applied Biosystems and later worked as a Daily Cal Science Writer at UC Berkeley. Betty also had an internship at Genentech, where they developed a nonradioactive kinase assay and subsequently became their Campus Liaison for U. C. Berkeley.

Betty Peng obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and Art History from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Golden Gate University. Betty attended Golden Gate University from 2010 to 2012.
