Sumedh Nimkarde

Sumedh Nimkarde has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Sumedh is currently employed as a Software Engineer - Backend at Qatalog since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Razorpay from June 2021 to April 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer. Sumedh also held the position of Software Development Engineer at Razorpay from May 2020 to May 2021. Before joining Razorpay, Sumedh worked at RentoMojo as a Software Development Engineer from July 2019 to May 2020. Sumedh gained valuable experience as a Backend Developer Intern at Devfolio from May 2018 to August 2018, where they built developer tools and APIs. Sumedh also worked with FOSSASIA as a Mentor for Google Code-in from November 2017 to February 2018 and as a Developer and Mentor at Codeheat from February 2017 to February 2018. Sumedh completed a Software Development Engineering Internship at HackerRank in December 2017 to January 2018, where they worked on load balancing and extraction tools. In addition, Sumedh was a participant in the Google Summer of Code 2017 program with FOSSASIA, where they built a new decoupled frontend using Ember JS. Sumedh also completed another Software Development Engineering Internship at HackerRank in May 2017 to July 2017, where they developed a status check portal, implemented WebRTC checks, and improved SEO. Sumedh has also served as a Community Manager at Google Developers Group from July 2016 to April 2017.

Sumedh Nimkarde obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat. Sumedh attended the institute from 2015 to 2019, where they focused on the field of study in computer engineering. Additionally, in May 2017, Sumedh obtained a certification in GSoC 2017 from Google.
