Mohamed Fakhroo

Mohamed Fakhroo is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Qatar Charity since September 2020, Mohamed is involved in long-term strategic financial planning and annual budgeting. Previously, as the Assistant Tax Revenues Manager at the General Tax Authority from May 2017 to August 2020, responsibilities included estimating tax gaps, controlling revenue in the oil and gas sector, and coordinating with international tax bodies. Before that, Mohamed held the position of Senior Treasury Operations Officer at QAPCO from April 2010 to April 2017, focusing on cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and trade finance transactions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Qatar University and an MBA from the University of Aberdeen.
