Muhammad Asif Nakhuda, CSCP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Muhammad Asif started their career as a Documentation and QA/QC Engineer at Zelin Private Limited in 1995. Muhammad Asif then moved on to FFC Jordan Fertilizer Company Limited, where they worked as a Materials Engineer from 1996 to 2003 and later as a Sr./Staff Engineer - Machinery Maintenance from 2003 to 2006. Nakhuda then joined Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qaism Limited in 2006 as a Unit Manager Materials, a role they held until 2008. Muhammad Asif briefly served as the SAP Materials Management Module Lead - Client Side at Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited from 2008 to 2010. Nakhuda returned to Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qaism Limited in 2010 as the Unit Manager Material Management, where they managed a strategic inventory control and material replenishment system. Currently, they are employed at Qatar Chemical Company as the Head of Procurement, where they lead the Strategic Procurement team and oversees the procurement functions for all group companies.
Muhammad Asif Nakhuda, CSCP has a Diploma in Supply Chain Management from the Pakistan Institute of Management, which they completed in 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology from 1990 to 1995. Muhammad Asif completed their Pre-Engineering education from Government D. J. Science College during 1987 to 1989. Muhammad Asif completed their secondary education in the Science Group at Saint Paul's High School from 1976 to 1987.

Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem) is owned by Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company QSC (MPHC) (49%), Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC. (49%) and Qatar Petroleum (QP) (2%). MPHC is majority owned by Qatar Petroleum (QP). The Q-Chem facility is a world-class integrated petrochemical plant producing high-density and medium-density polyethylene, 1-hexene and other products, using state-of-the-art technology provided by Chevron Phillips Chemical. Over $1bn was invested to engineer, construct and commission the Q-Chem facility, which began commercial operations in 2004. Located in Mesaieed Industrial City, the Q-Chem complex has a production designed capacity of 453,000 tonnes/year of PE and a 1-hexene unit with a designed capacity of 47,000 tonnes/year. The site also has a sulphur recovery and solidification plant. After the success of Q-Chem, a new $2bn project – Qatar Chemical Company II Ltd. (Q-Chem II) – was constructed adjacent to the Q-Chem plant. Q-Chem II began operation in 2010 and includes 350,000 tonnes/year of HDPE, and the first full-range normal alpha-olefins (NAO) unit in the State of Qatar with a capacity of 345,000 tonnes/year. Q-Chem II is owned by MPHC (49%), Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC. (49%) and QP (2%). Ras Laffan Olefins Company Ltd. (RLOC), 53.31%-owned by Q-Chem II, 45.69% by Qatofin Company QSC (Qatofin) and 1% by QP, constructed a world-class 1.3million tonnes/year ethylene cracker unit, inaugurated in 2010. RLOC is operated by Q-Chem II on behalf of its partners.
