Raed al-Emadi

Chief Strategy Officer (cso) at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority

Raed Al-Emadi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Raed started their career at Qatar Petroleum, where they worked as a University Preparation Program- Engineering candidate from 1997 to 2002. Raed then served as an Inspector and Project Engineer in the Offshore Facilities department of Qatar Petroleum from 2003 to 2006. Afterwards, they joined Qatar Foundation as a Mechanical Section Supervisor and later as the Chief Engineer for North Campus & ECCH housing. In 2008, Al-Emadi joined Barwa Real Estate Group, where they held roles as a Project Coordinator and Project Manager for various developments in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain. Raed then moved on to work as the Chief Operating Officer and Country Operations Manager for Silatech from 2010 to 2015. Currently, they hold the positions of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority, where they have been since 2015. In 2022, Al-Emadi is set to become the General Manager at the Institute of Public Administration in Diwan Al-Khidmah Al-Madniya Waattawir Al-Hukumi.

Raed Al-Emadi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from McNeese State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002.
