Michael Tarbard

Michael Tarbard is a seasoned professional in Enterprise Risk Management, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Qatar Investment Authority since October 2022. Prior experience includes significant roles at Barclays, where Michael worked as a Senior Assurance Manager and previously as an Operational Risk Framework Manager and Operational Risk Analyst. At Greensill, Michael advanced to Head of Operational Risk, leading the development of the Operational Risk team and implementing a Governance, Risk and Compliance System. Earlier, Michael served as an Operational Risk Manager at Mizuho, overseeing a robust risk framework and conducting comprehensive risk assessments. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Nottingham Trent University.
