Rizny Ismail has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years in the banking industry. Rizny started their career at Standard Chartered Bank in 1991, where they worked as a Management Trainee in Consumer Banking, exploring various areas of branch banking for 4 years. Rizny then moved to Corporate Banking and served as an Assistant Relationship Manager for 3 years.

In 1998, Rizny joined Dubai Islamic Bank as a Product Manager for Cards, where they launched the first Islamic Credit Card for the bank and played a key role in designing procedures, manuals, and sales kits. Rizny also collaborated with vendors and advertising agencies.

Rizny subsequently joined Standard Chartered Bank again in 2002, taking on the role of Product Manager for Cards and Personal Loans. Rizny developed marketing strategies and product positioning to maximize revenue targets. Additionally, they assessed market needs and monitored competitive products to maintain the bank's competitive edge.

In 2003, Rizny became a Business Development Manager, overseeing the Cards & Personal Loans division at Standard Chartered Bank. Rizny defined sales and marketing strategies, developed existing relationships with business sources, and established new business objectives for the sales team.

In 2008, Rizny joined Noor Bank as the Head of Cards Acquisition, responsible for acquiring new customers for the Cards division. Rizny later served as the Product Head for Cards and Personal Finance, during which they developed the Cards business strategy and achieved year-on-year targets to improve the bottom line. Rizny also held the position of Product Head of Cards, where they played a vital role in the growth and success of the Cards business.

Most recently, Rizny worked at Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) as the Head of Cards Business in the Personal Banking Group. No specific start or end dates were provided for this role.
