Rawad J. Bou Malhab

Rawad J. Bou Malhab currently serves as the Head of Manuscripts and Archives at Qatar National Library since February 2024, and also holds the position of Archivist and Digital Assets Manager at Qatar Museums since February 2022. Previously, Rawad worked as Lead Trainer for a training course in Archive Management at Cultural Institutions at Qatar National Library in late 2021, and as Digital Archive Project Lead Consultant at the American Center of Research from March to November 2021, managing a significant digital archive grant. Experience includes roles at the Arab Image Foundation as Librarian and Project Manager for the Middle East Photograph Preservation Initiative, and Head Archivist and Research Coordinator at Aref El Rayess Foundation. Rawad holds a Master of Library & Information Science with a focus on Archives and Records Management from the University of Dundee, complemented by education from Lebanese University and Coursera.
