Wajahat Ali

Wajahat Ali is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in transaction services and banking operations. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in Transaction Services at QNB Group since June 2019, Wajahat is responsible for ensuring timely execution of payment processes, reconciliation of accounts, and treasury forecasting. Previously, Wajahat worked at Qatar International Islamic Bank in various roles within the Treasury Back Office and Foreign Remittance departments, where responsibilities included executing treasury transactions, preparing SWIFT messages, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Wajahat's career began with an internship at HSBC Bank - Qatar, focusing on service delivery and account verification. Wajahat holds a BBA in International Hospitality Management from Stenden and diplomas in Marketing and Business Administration from the College of the North Atlantic - Qatar and Seneca College, respectively.
