Patrick Alexander

Patrick Alexander is an experienced publishing professional currently serving as the Director of The Pennsylvania State University Press since March 2007, overseeing an academic press that publishes approximately sixty-five new titles annually across various disciplines. In addition to this role, Patrick has been a Consultant at Qatar University since May 2017, collaborating with Professor Talal Abdullah Al-Emadi to establish a university press that became operational in 2018. Previous positions include Senior Expert/Consultant at Aspect Consulting, where Patrick developed a business plan for a proposed press at the University of Botswana, and leadership roles at Brill Academic Publishers from 2000 to 2005, including Publishing Director and Vice-President, managing operations for Brill USA. Patrick also served as Editor-in-Chief at Penn State University Press from March 2007 to June 2009.
