Basel Ghazzawi is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of security systems and IT management, currently serving as the Lead Security Systems Engineer at Qatar Petroleum since September 2004. Prior roles include Senior Endpoint Management & Security Engineer and Systems Engineer at Qatar Petroleum, IT Engineer at 20 WPC, and Systems Analyst at Royal LePage. Basel began the career as a Systems Engineer at Binatech Information Systems and contributed as a member of the Qatari Society of Engineers from 1992 to 1998. Basel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Qatar University and completed secondary education in Science at Al-Isteqlal Secondary School.
