Saby Mahapatra

Sabyasachi Mahapatra has extensive experience in contracts and procurement management across various organizations in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Head of Contracts & Procurement at QatarEnergy since October 2019, Sabyasachi leads a team to support offshore and onshore facilities. Prior to this role, Sabyasachi was with Oxy for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included managing supply chain operations and serving on various committees to ensure compliance with procurement policies. Previous positions include Subcontracts Manager at McDermott International, Contracts Engineer at Clough, and Contracts Engineer at Punj Lloyd Limited, managing key projects for prominent companies such as Saudi Aramco and Qatar Gas. Sabyasachi holds an MBA in Construction Management from NICMAR University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Nagpur University.
