Daniel Wang

Daniel Wang is an experienced educator with a focus on STEM subjects. Currently serving as a STEM Teacher at School District 47 in Powell River since September 2019, Daniel previously held the position of Distributed Learning Teacher at School District No. 47 from October 2020 to June 2021. Daniel's experience also includes leading the International Department at Beijing No. 8 Middle School from March 2014 to June 2019, and teaching Biology at Chengdu International School from July 2011 to February 2014, where courses included AP Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked as a Tutor-Counsellor for Upward Bound and as a data collector for greenhouse gas emissions at Houghton College. Daniel holds a Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology from Penn State University, obtained in May 2023, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Adolescence Education from Houghton University, earned in 2011.
